We knew there was no other place to hold our wedding as soon as we saw Plas Dinam. Both bride and groom were made to feel equally as important when we came to see the venue which was really important for us – it was the only venue we saw that acted in this way.
The venue and environment is calm, inviting and warm. It feels like a place you can live in, which is exactly what we did for 4 days. Nothing was a problem, everything had a solution and any suggestion or query was met with simple, clear and concise advice.
The home itself is incredibly well equipped for weddings and for a general stay. There are plenty of rooms with the most comfortable beds we have stayed in away from our own. And with the owners just down the road, they were on hand should anything need fixing, if we had any questions or even for some local tips on where to go and what to do. The size of the place and its grounds mean there are plenty of options for seamlessly dealing with bad weather, or for hosting any kind of wedding you may want – regal, natural, bright, colourful, outdoors, indoors, rustic etc.
There is not a single part of Plas Dinam which doesn’t make you feel equally awestruck but comfortable. Sitting in the rear garden, taking in the view and listening to the world was almost as memorable as the wedding itself.
Worth every moment. Unforgettable.

Plas Dinam exceeded our expectations by a long way. We knew that we’d chosen a great venue and would have the best weekend, but we weren’t prepared for how special Plas Dinam is and much we would fall in love with this place. The setting is beautiful with the most incredible views, the house is stunning and all of the bedrooms feel like a luxury country hotel and the staff are all amazing. Eldrydd, Tyson, Lou and the rest of the team were so helpful and generous, whilst also being very laid back and relaxed. They really put us at ease throughout the entire planning process and on the big day itself. They over delivered on all of our excessive requests and everything we wanted was possible. From the moment we arrived we really felt at home there for the weekend. We were fortunate enough to have nice weather so really got to utilise every part of the venue, with a pre-wedding pizza party on the front lawn the day before, our ceremony out the back with the rolling hills behind us and with the meal and dancing in the glass stables. The stables were stunning and it worked so well having the dance floor open to the dining area, the dance floor was packed the whole evening.
We had Wild Garlic for our caterers who call Plas Dinam their second home, they too over delivered and were great. We would highly recommend Plas Dinam to anyone looking for an incredible countryside venue with lots of accommodation on site, exclusive use and a really relaxed atmosphere. We wish we would go back and re-live it all over again!

The second we pulled up at Plas Dinam we knew it was the venue for us – our wedding coordinator, put us at ease and gave us plenty of time to explore the venue, answering any questions we had. There are a range of places you can choose to get married – from outdoors to indoors, grand hall to green lawn; at Plas Dinam you can really make the whole day your own and take the reigns in terms of design, timings and suppliers for the big day. We loved that we could put our own stamp on the place and bring our vision to life.
The fact we could have so many family and friends staying onsite with us was also a massive win – and the house is fantastic! All the original features have been maintained and the bedrooms are beautiful, in between the madness of setting up and getting ready – it felt like a holiday!
For fellow Welsh people; you don’t need to go to England to get what you’re looking for, the venue of your dreams is closer to home! 😉

We couldn’t have dreamt of a better day. The second we saw Plas Dinam we knew it was the venue for us and didn’t have a single doubt in our minds that we, and all our guests would have the most memorable day. We had our hearts set on an outdoorsy wedding, but it was great to know that there were many options for plan b if it rained. It didn’t! The setting was incredible, having the woodlands for our ceremony was everything we could have hoped for, and the stables was unique and brought the outside in. Big shout out to Lou from Plas Dinam who helped us on the day and in the months before making sure everything ran smoothly.

Plas Dinam Country House soon became our favourite place. From the moment we drove up the the winding path to the house, we knew it was the place for us. Not only could we enjoy the beautiful surroundings that Plas Dinam sits in, but we got to extend our wedding to enjoy a whole weekend at the house for our wedding. We arrived on Thursday to crisp sheets, enjoyed pizza facilitated by Tyson on Friday, our wedding on Saturday in the Stables and a BBQ on Sunday. We feel absolutely blessed!

Eldrydd allowed us to make the house our home for the weekend and no request was too big or none negotiable. They were kind throughout and determined to make sure that, despite to pandemic, we were to have the wedding we had planned at Plas Dinam. On the day Louise was never far to check how things were going and to organise the various suppliers who were a part of our day. Everything was so smooth and we trusted that Louise was in control. We will forever be grateful for their kindness, support and consideration throughout! Thank you!

Plas Dinam was the perfect venue for our wedding. The location is beautiful and the stables allow you to be as creative as you want. Eldrydd, Tyson, Katie and the rest of the team were amazing at helping with everything from start to finish. The are supportive and always on hand if you have any questions. The weather didn’t look great in the morning and the Plas Dinam team were so accommodating In letting us have multiple options depending on what the weather did, eventually the sun came out at the perfect moment and we had our ceremony on the back lawn overlooking the beautiful views. Guests have not stopped telling us what a brilliant day they had. We stayed over the weekend which made the recovery slightly easier not having to rush off! The whole weekend was relaxed everything we were hoping for. Could not recommend Plas Dinam enough!

We are so pleased we chose Plas Dinam as a venue for our wedding celebrations of Charlotte and Adam. Eldrydd, Tyson, Louise and their team could not have done more to make it such a memorable, special time for us. They provided great support in the planning of the wedding and were happy to share their knowledge and experience of how to make the optimum use of the amazing house and grounds for the whole wedding weekend. The house, bedrooms and main rooms are to a very high standard. All of the bedrooms are comfortable and well furnished. The stables provided a perfect space for the wedding celebration.

We would highly recommend Plas Dinam for anyone looking for a wedding venue.

We booked Plas Dinam with around 10 weeks to plan a wedding, something which could have been stressful (especially with a baby too), but Eldrydd and Lou made the process easy. Lou was always at the end of an email/Whatsapp to answer any queries and give advice, she was amazing and made us feel completely at ease from the very beginning.
Due to the time of year and number of guests, we held our wedding in the house and it was just perfect. We had an intimate ceremony in the gorgeous drawing room, drinks and canapés in the sitting room and feasting in the great hall. In the evening, the drawing room was transformed into a dance floor with a sound system set up by a great local company.
The house and lodge accommodated all of our guests over the Easter weekend. The house is beautiful, full of history and extremely well equipped. On Sunday, we made use of the onsite pizza oven which was fantastic and a great way to get everyone involved in the cooking! Tyson was great setting up and demonstrating how to use the pizza oven and the pizzas were delicious, this was a real highlight of the weekend.
It was important to us that our wedding was relaxed and enjoyable for everyone, Plas Dinam was the absolute perfect venue for this and we wish we could do it over and over again. A lot of our guests have said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to!

Plas Dinam was the perfect venue for the intimate wedding we wanted. Hearing all too often that wedding days are over too quickly, we decided from the outset to have a weekend wedding: four days of fun with our closest friends and family, with extended family and other friends joining us for the ‘big day’. After visiting several venues in Devon, which weren’t particularly luxurious but with huge price tags, we discovered Plas Dinam via recommendation. It offers 15 luxurious bedrooms, all individually styled exuding a perfect balance of vintage and modern. The grounds are stunning; you have the choice of tennis court, football pitch, croquet pitch, with a mini forest and stream, and horses in a nearby field to visit. The house is big enough to comfortably sleep 34 and although it’s an old house, and there is a sense of grandeur, it isn’t in the slightest bit ostentatious. On our wedding day we were 92 in the evening and it felt intimate. We couldn’t have asked for anything more from the venue – Eldrydd (the PD’s manager) has a excellent suppliers list to help you with all your requirements. Would highly recommend Plas Dinam for anyone wanting an intimate wedding in the gorgeous Welsh countryside.

She thought of solutions to problems before we even realised there was a problem. She was organised, reassuring and just a lovely person to spend time with! After the postponement and all the zoom calls we are so pleased to have finally got the wedding of our dreams. You have all been wonderful right from day one. Could there be anywhere more perfect to get married!? We doubt it! With all our thanks and very best wishes.

Harry and I can’t stop smiling and crying and laughing about all that has been magic over the past week. All of which was only made more magical by the Plas Dinam team. Their care, kindness and “nothing is too much” attitude led to us all having such fun. They took care of us the minute we first got in contact. We got to make our wedding our own. The interior and exterior of the house is incredible, but the to be able to also experience the woodland, the stables and every nook and cranny this wonderful venue has to offer was just spectacular. A special mention to Katie, our wedding Coordinator. I haven’t got enough words to express my gratitude for this beautiful human. She was like a fairy god mother in the background that made everything so seamless and easy and made us feel we were constantly safe in her hands!

We got married at Plas Dinam this September and just wow, it was everything we could have dreamed of and more. It was the perfect venue and without a doubt the best weekend of our lives.
All of our guests were blown away by the house, the beautiful gardens and the surrounding scenery. Being able to have so many of our guests stay with us on site was so special and meant we were really able to cherish every second of the weekend. The Plas Dinam owners and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. Lou was particularly brilliant on the wedding day, making sure everything ran smoothly so all we had to focus on was enjoying ourselves. We absolutely loved the beautiful wedding barn and being able to add so many of our own personal touches. The atmosphere in the evening really was magical. We could not recommend this venue more highly, we have certainly made memories to last a lifetime. Thank you Plas Dinam!

We were lucky enough to find Plas Dinam on a search for possible wedding venues last year and we are so pleased that we found it. We booked the house for the whole weekend and filled all of the rooms with our closet friends and family for the most magical wedding ever! The old stables, which we decorated for our wedding reception were beautiful, the grounds and gardens were superbly kept and hosts were fantastic in the run up and during the weekend! We could not recommend a better place to get married or spend a long weekend with friends and family!

I can’t imagine a more perfect blend of professionalism and hands-off management for a wedding venue. All the guests could get comfortable and feel totally at ease and we were free to host as we liked . On the day of the wedding, everything for the ceremony, reception, and party was completely organised without any input from us and we could simply get ready for the day. Katie was so helpful and kind on the day that I felt like I had an extra bridesmaid.

This is of course just on the day – but the whole lead up was equally as wonderful! We wanted an outdoors style wedding in winter and they made everything possible, even to the point of doing things in a way they’d not done before! My partner was always contacting them with questions and requests and they gave him great answers, went above and beyond, and gave us both a lot of reassurance and advice.

We honestly had a fantastic time and I doubt it would’ve have been so perfect anywhere else. A lot of our guests said it was the best wedding venue they’d ever experienced and even our dog didn’t want to leave.

We were very lucky to have our wedding at Plas Dinam in Spring 2024 and have our wedding party stay there for the weekend. We couldn’t have wished for a more beautiful (yet relaxed) venue. We were originally drawn to the area because of the incredible views of the Welsh hills, but the home itself was so full of beautiful character details and fun features such as the billiards room, which we loved. There was plenty of room to accommodate our weekend and day guests, with lovely characterful bedrooms across two levels and spacious bathrooms, a well-equipped family kitchen, and two large reception rooms with stunning views. We chose to have an outdoor ceremony in April and had zero regrets – Plas Dinam and its grounds provided an incredible backdrop and it was great to have so many options (thanks to Eldrydd, Tyson, Lou, and their team for their flexibility and support!). The glass-roofed Stables was a special place to host our wedding breakfast and live music, and we opted to have a fire pit outside, which created a cosy evening atmosphere.
What a place! Needless to say, we (and many of our guests!) would love to come back in future!

We had our wedding weekend here! I cant even begin to explain our experience. The house and grounds itself are absolutely stunning, it all went so perfectly. We had a pizza party on the Friday night using their pizza oven, Saturday the morning of the wedding was unreal, we went for a walk to the swimming lake and went for a swim, it was glorious. Such a chilled and magical experience. It’s your house for the weekend so everyone genuinely felt at home and when we needed help Louise was on the other end of the phone, she was brilliant throughout the whole process and guided us to the perfect weekend and wedding. We got most of our suppliers from a list they provided with trusted suppliers of everything and there was not one disappointment. Worth every penny, if only we could take everyone back there for our first anniversary, highly highly recommended!!

This is a beautiful house that balances space and style with a homeliness. The grounds and countryside are stunning and enable walks, swimming and fun. The morning of our wedding friends were rolling out of bed and going for runs, or swimming in the wild lakes. Others were just clustered around the kitchen table. We married in the woodland which was perfect for us but there are lots of options.
Throughout the planning Louise and Eldrydd were helpful and responsive. Lots of advice on timing and set up. We used lots of wonderful local suppliers I would also recommend from pastries from Andy’s bread (“these are better than in France” was one comment!!) to local chocolate! Our flowers were also done by a lady from the village (Jane).

We can’t begin to describe how amazing Plas Dinam is! It made what is already a special day even more special. From the rustic setting for the wedding reception to the stunning views of the Welsh hills from the grounds, this venue is truly one of a kind! If you want a wedding where you can truly show your character as a couple and make it bespoke and personal to you, this is the place to be! The Plas Dinam team are so flexible, accommodating and supportive from start to finish and entertained every fun idea we had for the day from axe throwing to a New Orleans style saxophone procession. Lou (the wedding coordinator) is such a calming presence and helped make the whole experience so much fun! We stayed from Thursday evening to Sunday morning with family and friends, having open air cinema showings in the gardens, playing pool in the billiards room and using the pizza oven onsite too, all before the wedding on Saturday. This venue is truly FANTASTIC! We cannot recommend enough!

We got married in Plas Dinam at the beginning of November. It was an amazing venue to get married at. Before our wedding they were very good with communication, answering emails quickly and being very helpful with anything we asked. On the weekend of the wedding, the weather gods were very kind with beautiful sunshine all weekend. Due to it being a November wedding we had planned for everything to be inside, and the rooms at Plas were beautiful and luckily our guests could experience the stunning gardens as well with the good weather. We got married in the great hall, which had enough space for 120 people to be seated. Louise made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the whole day and made for a stress free wedding. The stables were fantastic for our wedding reception and had plenty of space for all the twmpath dancing! Plas Dinam was a great venue, you get the whole place for the weekend and can plan the weekend you way it want to go. we had a very relaxed weekend approach with all of our guests coming and going over the weekend. I couldn’t recommend this venue more.

If you are looking for the most idyllic countryside setting for a DIY wedding, Plas Dinam is the perfect venue. We were excited from the pictures but fell in love with it as soon as we drove up the driveway.

The beautiful main house is constantly being tweaked and updated so for an old house it feel remarkably fresh and pristine. The grounds and the stables are gorgeous and plenty of room for 130 guests.

Utilize the heavenly Julie as much as you like (we fell in love with her as much as the venue!) but equally if you have your own ideas of what you want you have all the freedom to run with it. Tyson is also always on hand for any practical hands on help you may need.

We visited so many places where they had a set schedule for the day, where you felt like just any other bride & groom that they needed you in and out in 24hrs. Plas Dinam allows you to create whatever you want for as long as you want. For example we stayed for 4 nights and created a ball pit photobooth in the stables

We can’t wait to return for our 5th, 10th, 20th wedding anniversaries!

We rented Plas Dinam for our wedding at the end of October and couldn’t have been happier with the venue itself and the team – they are wonderful!
Plas Dinam is an exquisite venue. We received several compliments about the house, grounds and quirky stables. Most of our guests hadn’t been to anywhere like it and they all enjoyed the weekend (almost) as much as we did.

The bedrooms and bathrooms are all beautiful – there isn’t a bad room in the place and the living accommodation downstairs is extensive and offers plenty to do. The grounds are stunning and we enjoyed walking and exploring (with our dog).
One of the things we were most grateful of was the ability to make the weekend our own and we were lucky to have three nights there so we could prepare beforehand and recover afterwards. This is something that sets Plas Dinam apart from other venues we had considered that had more than one wedding per week in many cases.

From our very first interactions with Eldrydd and her team, we knew we were in safe hands. They gave all the relevant information and answered our questions without being pushy at any stage. The team always made time for us, even when they would have had a number of other weddings and events to plan at the same time. Katie was our designated wedding coordinator and she was amazing. She was calm and completely unflappable and gave us an enormous confidence in how the day would run and was there for us every step of the way and she threw herself into any role required over the weekend (helping the housekeeping staff, feeding my dog, finding my spare shoes….absolutely anything she could do to help, she did).
I can’t thank the team enough for what genuinely was (as the title suggests) the best weekend of our lives and I just hope we can return one day. Thank you!

Wow! The beautiful house and grounds of Plas Dinam were the perfect setting for our wedding.
We wanted a venue where our family and friends could have a staycation in a remarkable location and witness our wedding in between – well Plas Dinam was just that!

With the added bonus of choice for your ceremony and reception, our set-up wasn’t restricted by the weather. Incredibly we had idyllic weather during our three day take over of PD – making use of the garden games on the front lawns, ceremony on the back lawn under the blazing sun – cooling off with canapes under the stretch tent and feasted the evening away in the Stables.

The house felt very homely and had plenty of space for everyone to relax and socialise, whilst the Stables are so rustic and unique. It was great to have two separate spaces, so the older family could retire to the house whenever they wanted.

We only booked our date 7 months prior and the PD Team could not have been more flexible and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble and they were always on hand.
On the day our wedding co-ordinator Katie was calm and considerate, allowing us both to relax.

These guys know it all – I don’t think you can get any better than Plas Dinam!
